The Minister for Communications, Information Technology and the Arts, Senator the Hon Helen Coonan joined Google for the opening ceremony.

The new HQ will act as a strategic hub for employees, partners, advertisers and engineers in Australia. It will also be home to Google’s first Australian engineering and R&D centre, which will contribute to the development of Google products and services worldwide and generate new jobs in Australia. The company is recruiting for a range of positions, such as sales, engineering, and business development.
